I am not sure if you realized this or not but... Sadie is a triplet. What??!! Yep. I am surprised you didn't know that.Ok, they are not triplets, but wouldn't it be cool if they were? These beautiful girls are her twin cousins, Claire and Jocelyn. They are only 2 months older than Sadie.
We got to go and meet them for the first time in November for Thanksgiving. We took them to the mall to get their pictures taken together as a surprise for their Grandma Sandra for Christmas. So many people stopped us to ask if they were triplets. It was super fun. And can you believe it? We got 3 babies to smile at the same time!
So while we were there visiting Claire and Jocelyn did their best "older sister" interpretations and introduced Sadie to a few things she had never experienced before. For example: Here is how she communicated before we went to visit.
This is how she has communicated ever since meeting the cousins.
And she did this all day long, every day for a week after we got home. Music to my ringing eardrums :) Thank you to Claire and Jocelyn for that.
Here are some other things Sadie wanted to do after meeting her cousins:
- Get her very first cold (Let it be noted that Sadie first discovered that she could scream long and loud while she was adamantly protesting me suctioning her stuffy nose)
- roll over
- use a Kiddopotamus swaddle blanket to sleep
Needless to say, Sadie thinks her cousins are super awesome and wants to be just like them.
