We are all waiting with baited breath for the day Sadie will crawl. She has come up with her own sort of army crawl which entails rolling to her side, stretching, rolling the other direction, stretching, etc. It is so amazing how far she can get just by stretching. As far as really crawling goes, she can get her knees up underneath her and she can push all the way up on her hands, she just can't do them both at the same time yet.
She is (thankfully) sleeping really well these days. She goes to bed at 7pm and sleeps until about 7am. When she wakes up she is the happiest little girl! She lays in her crib and babbles and screams (happy screaming) and talks to her binkie. It is pretty fun to listen to her. And when you get her out of the crib she gives you the biggest grins of the whole day and kisses on your cheek.
She is still eating really well and she has learned some new ways to show me that she is hungry. When I am feeding her solid food she opens her mouth as wide as it will possibly go. She looks like a little bird. When she wants to breastfeed she starts sucking on my cheek...this is also how she gives kisses.
Here are a few other random facts about Sadie:
Favorite Toy: Binkie or her pink rattle
Favorite Song: "Sadie, Sadie, give me your answer do..." It is a song that my Grandpa used to sing to my mom, but we changed the name.
Favorite Time of Day: Bathtime!
Favorite Activity: looking out the window
Favorite person: Malley (Not a person...but she really likes him and even cries sometimes when he leaves the room)
